Welcome to the T3 For All mini-site

This is the website for the fictional research project T3 For All.

The site is designed to show how a subsidiary website can be created using Mosaic's shared content feature. T3 For All is one of the projects featured on the Research Showcase website (which demonstrates a range of Mosaic features). This site uses a mixture of shared content from the Research Showcase site, and newly created material.

What is shared content?

The shared content feature allows content items created on one Mosaic site to be duplicated on one or more other sites.

Why use shared content?

Using shared content has a number of advantages: it reduces workload when setting up the site, because content only needs to be created once, and makes maintenance easier, because content only needs to be updated in one place. It can also help to achieve a uniform look and feel across sites, while still giving the subsidiary sites the freedom to create the content that's right for them.

This model could be used to create subsidiary websites for individual research projects that members of a research group are working on, for research groups that are part of the same department, or for any situation where one umbrella group includes a number of semi-independent endeavours.
